Catholic students from any public or non-public school in the area, as well as homeschoolers, are welcome at the catechism classes sponsored by the Pittsburgh Latin Mass Community, which operates with the full approval of Pittsburgh Bishop Donald Wuerl. There is no cost to the students or parents. Classes are held Sundays at 9:10 am (between the 8 and 11 a.m. Latin Masses at St. Boniface) from September to June at the former St. Ambrose School in Spring Hill on Pittsburgh's North Side, which is safe and accessible.
